Uni of Waterloo acceptance rate is 53% which means that university accepts 53 out of 100 students. This means that the University of Waterloo admissions criteria are moderately selective as only half of the applicants are likely to become students at the canada-based university

As per the latest subject rankings (2025) for: Engineering & Technology rolled out by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the University of Waterloo secures a Canada-wide rank #3 & a global rank #33.
Further, the institute also ranks #2 for Computer Science Engineering, as part of the latest course-specific rankings given by Shiksha.
It is fair to say that Waterloo is one of the best institutes in the world to pursue Computer Science from.
