You should take mechanical engineering in B.Tech. You can also undertake various designing courses like Catia, Creo or Ansys that will surely help you in future.

Since you are interested in the automobile industry, so you should do be in mechanical engineering and you should be good in fluid mechanics and applied thermodynamics.

Hello Vignesh,
I think both are almost equal, but I prefer Sri Venkateshwara over Hindustan University. Sri Venkateshwara offers better education, placements and most of all, these are available at a lowered than Hindustan University.
So, I prefer Sri venkateshwara.

I think both the branches are good but from future perspective, mechatronics is good as robotics in India is gaining popularity.
You might end up with getting a good job in an MNC.
