Hi Azhar,
You can definitely pursue B.Tech after completing Diploma in automobile engineering. Not just that, you can in fact get enrolled in the second year directly for admission through lateral entry to pursue B.Tech or BE.

Hi Balaji,
If you have great scores you should try Germany, a hub for automobiles and mechanics. Also, education is almost free, if not free then very cheap and they would charge only semester fees. Additionally, living expenses would be incurred. Check RWTH Aachen, University of Heidelberg, University of Stuttgart, etc. You may also check universities in Spain and Netherlands.

Hi Aswinraj,
Germany is God sent country for engineers wanting to pursue core fields. With low living cost for students as well as zero tuition fee for visiting students, it makes Germany a good choice for pursuing your degree their. With automotive companies like Audi, BMW, Ford, Porsche, Volkswagen etc. based in Germany, it makes it even a better destination for engineers seeking automotive field for higher degree. Since you have completed electronics engineering, you can do further research in Electronics Controlled Unit-subsystem and hence post graduate with a degree there.

Hi Aman, RWTH Aachen, Heidelberg University, University of Bayreuth, TU Munich, TU Berlin etc are some of the best. There is no good or bad universities in Germany to be very frank. Admissions are very competitive. You must have excellent academic grades, around 75% and above. Demonstration of research work, patents, publications etc are a must.
