Yes, you can pursue B.Tech in automobile engineering after pursuing Diploma as well. Top colleges where you can get admissions are:
Thappar University, Patiala
PTU, Chandigarh
DCE, Delhi
UPES, Dehradun
All these colleges are the best for pursuing engineering.

Hi,
Germany is very good for automotive studies. You can check universities like RWTH Aachen, TU Munich, TU Berlin, Heidelberg, etc. Visit DAAD website for more university options and requirements. The USA, Europe and Canada could be other options.

Both the areas are good and have an immense scope. Material Science which is an interdisciplinary degree is offered only by a few top universities as Master's degree. Materials engineering graduates have jobs in materials-based industries such as vehicle construction and mechanical engineering, chemical industry, information and communication technologies, energy supply, electrical engineering/electronics and metal production and processing. Germany is known for mechanics and automobiles and this industry is the country's driving force. Check the Make it in Germany website for more career information.

Yes, you can pursue automobile engineering. You need to qualify JEE Mains exam or any other engineering entrance exam (national or state level) to get admission in a good college.

University of Windsor has the best research program in automotive though its world ranking in comparison to Ontario is low. So, you may compare the acceptance rate, course structure, finances, cultural aspect, etc. before making a final decision.

To maximize your chances of getting admission in MS in German Universities, you must have excellent academic record. You must aim to be in one of the first 10% students in your batch.
