To become an automobile engineer you have to pursue B.Tech in mechanical engineering or automobile engineering. After mechanical engineering you can also go for M.Tech in automobile engineering. This will help you in becoming an automobile engineer.

Since German universities are extremely selective you must be having very high CGPA. More than 75% is required or at least 8 out of 10 is minimum. But different universities have different requirements and selectivity. IELTS score requirements also vary but generally an overall score of 6.5 or 7 with no section less than 6 is required.

MS in automotive engineering is highly preferable in Germany and the colleges there are cheap as well. You can check them out on https://shiksha.com.
