The course which i am studying right now, i.e, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT Jaipur does include Automobile Engineering and is also very well taught in our college. Mechanical is an evergreen branch which means that a good Mechanical Engineer does not sit idle and always would be needed in future. hence in my view you should definitely opt for this branch. If you want to do B.Tech from Automobile Engineering solely then you could go for Delhi Technological University after your JEE Mains result is announced. Automobile engineering has a neverending scope. They will never go out of use. However petrol and diesel cars may lose grip in far future but non-conventional energy source cars will take over then.
