In my opinion Automobile is a very good stream to get admission as it will provide you a great career in top Automobile company which is a dream job of any mechanical Engineer but i would like to recommend you to select the university cautiously as in this stream along with technical skills one also need to boost your practical ideas .here are some of the colleges where you can get admission by availing high scholarship:

If you are very sure about automotive engineering, then go for that only. But in case you have any doubt, I suggest you take mechanical. A mechanical engineer can go into automotive and other industries but an automotive engineer cannot go into other industries.

You need to hv 80% above to get admission in a good university. A score of 6.5 in IELTS or Toefl is also accepted.

Yes, go for private colleges amity LPU etc. They will let you in easily just fees is the matter of concern.Or else there is a hope with your board percentage, you can land in some good state level private and govt. colleges of engg. which are good enough to get you placed if you work hard.
