B.Tech or BE, both are equivalent, you can choose any. Some institutes provide BE but most of the institute provide B.Tech for regular mode. You should take B.Tech or BE in mechanical engineering.

In my knowledge, there are few universities by which you can complete your Degree in engineering (Correspondence) but one thing you always make sure, the university/institution are UGC & AICTE recognized.

Course covers new automobile engineering trends such as hybrid propulsion, electrical vehicle, bio-materials, fleet management, etc. which will prepare you to meet next decade automobile engineering requirements. Course is relatively new. You are requested to evaluate MS in automobile engineering in Germany for better career opportunities.
