MIT Institute of Design is a private institution which started operating in 2006. Over the last decades, MIT ID established a healthy relationship with national and global organizations  who regularly offer internships, sponsored projects and placement opportunities for the students. Google, Goodrej, Samsung, etc. are the partnershiped company. PLacement ranges from the highest INR 27 lakh, Average INR 8 Lacs and minimum INR 5 lakh.

To apply for BDes in MIT Institute of Design candidates are required to appear in the Institute based entrance exam MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test). Intially candidates are required to fill the online apllication form for MIT DAT and upload all the required documents. Candidates will receive the admit card online. After the exam candiates will be summoned for the personal interview followed by studio test.

Admission to BDes course is based on RSAT/SAT/UCEED/CUET + Aptitude Test + Past Academic Records + Academic & Extracurricular Achievements + Personal Interview. Shortlisted aspirants are called for a PI round. The university also evaluates candidates based on their academic records, Class 12 and extracurricular achievements. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants will recieve an offer letter. Candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their admission.

MIT Institute of Design offers three three-year BDes programme under eleven specialisation. Candidates who have passed class 12th from any stream (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB) are eligible for the BDes programme. Further, candidates are required to go through the two-phase admission procedure. The first phase is to pass the Institute-based entrance test i.e. MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test). The second phase revolves around personal interviews and studio tests.

The total tuition fee for Rishihood University BDes course is INR 12 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates need to pay course fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat. In case a candidate is unable to pay fee within the stipulated time, his or her admission stands cancelled. Apart from the course fee, aspirants also need to pay registration fee in the start of the admission process to apply for Rishihood BDes course.
