Yes, Delhi Technological University offers a four-year BDes programme to students in the field of Design. DTU started offering the course in Fashion Design specialisation (Check Top Fashion Design Colleges in India here) and it mentioned about starting Film Design specialisation. No, DY Patil International University, Pune does not offer direct admission to B. Des interior design. Admission to the course is based on the candidate's performance in the DYPU entrance exam, and the subsequent round of counselling.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Des programme will be prescribed by the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria. Only then he or she will be offered admission. However, if the candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, the candidate can be disqualified at any stage of the admission process. Note that the documents and information submitted by the candidate at the time of submitting the SEED application form will be verified at the time of counseling and seat allotment.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers a Bachelor of Design (B. Des) of four years duration. Admission to the course is conducted through the SEED entrance exam and PRPI rounds. The fee structure for the B.Des programme is given in the table below.

The B.Des programme has an intake capacity of 180 seats (Indian nationals only). In addition, there are 27 seats reserved for international students. The candidate may note that the seat intake is however subject to approval from SIU. There is also reservation of seats for SC, ST, and Differently Abled candidates.
The B.Des programme is available in four specialisations - Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication.

Yes, the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has caste-based reservation of seats for admission to the B.Des program. SID has a combined intake of 180 seats for Indian students. The reservation criteria for the B.Des programme is given in the table below.
