If you want to do B.Des, you can choose any stream arts, science and commerce. I am doing B.Des from arts stream because to mainly focus on design entrance exams from the best institutes like NID, NIFT, UCEED, etc. However, your class 12th score doesn't matter much, it's just that you have to score 50% to fulfil the criteria Although, you have to do your best in HSC to score well, it can rather help you in future, but your B.Des entrance score matters the most. You have to give your 100% over there. It is as hard as JEE CET NEET. But it's way more fun to study design. So, you can go for any stream, it's up to you.
All the best for your

Hi Shubhra!
Yes, there will be opportunities. Some colleges might help you with the placements, while others won't. I would suggest you to either pursue B. Des from a reputed college like NIFT, Pearl Academy, NID, Symbiosis Institute of Design etc. , or you should not rely on the college for placements. You will have to create your own opportunities and explore jobs for yourself. Also, one liberty that all design professionals have is that you can start your own business too. So, B. Des as a course has a lot to offer in terms of opportunity. The three colleges that you have mentioned, I would say NIIFT would be a better choice.

Hi Chirag!
In Mumbai, there is Pearl Academy and Sir JJ School Of Art which are the best college for any design course. You can also explore Amity University for an interior design course.

Hi Saksham,
If you could not apply for UCEED exam for the upcoming session, you will have to apply next year then. There is no other way you could appear now for the 2018 batch.
