Hi,
Off course, an ECE Graduate can be a part of Automobile Industry. Since most of the vehicles today consists of various microprocessors/microcontrollers and sensors for their automatic locomotion. So this kind of automation work can only be done either by an Electronics Engineer or by an Electrical Engineer. Also the production plant works on PLCs which can only be programmed by ECE or EEE graduate student. All the Automobiles will have embedded systems and communication systems in them. Yes, you can do B.Ed after BE or B.Tech, so don't worry about it if you want to do then go for it, but in my opinion M.Tech is better to go for M.Tech.
