The list of some of the top colleges in India includes IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, etc. After IITs, NITs (National Institute of Technology) are the ones considered after IITs by most of the B.Tech aspirants. There is a total of 31 NITs spread across the country. One can refer NIRF engineering and other rankings. Also few name to mention are BITS Pilani, Jadavpur University Jamia, VIT etc.

As you have not mentioned any particular NIT, so I am assuming you want a rough idea on at what rank you will get admission in top 5 NITs for ECE branch.

Hello Raghul R, no, Sastra deemed to be university does not prescribe any cutoff for admission. What this means is that a student with any percentage or any ranking can see admission by applying. Of course it's different story whether such student will get admission or not because it depends on the number of seats available and number of students who have applied.
