Selection basis:
Level-1: For interview on the basis of merit considering the academic performance.
Level-2: For enrolment-on the basis of merit considering the academic performance, performance in the interview and co-curricular excellence.

B.Ed is the best field to enter the teaching field, because it is much valued in India, and if you want to do some research or complete doctorate in Science stream, then go for B.Sc and M.Sc.

Candidates who want to take admission need to complete graduation or post-graduation with 50%.
For admission in B.Ed course, it is essential that in graduation at least two subjects out of Hindi, English, chemistry, Zoology, Physics, Biology, Maths, History Homescience, Political Science, Psychology, Social Science, Economics and Commerce and one subject out of the aforementioned subject in class 12th.

As you have already completed your PG degree, rather than B.Ed, I would suggest you to go for Ph.D as that will increase your chances of being a good professor in some of the reputed institute.

A candidate should have passed the Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree of any recognized University, with at least 50% marks and should have offered at least one school subject at graduation level as a principal or subsidiary or allied or an optional subject.
