The first-year of the course is divided into two semesters. JMI BSc Biotechnology curriculum includes subjects to be studied in both the semesters. Each of the semester has a lab subject. Enlisted below are the theory subjects covered in the first-year of the programme:

Some good colleges for B.Sc in biotechnology are VIT Vellore, Christ university Bangaluru, JMI New Delhi, Chandigarh university and more. Some good colleges for cyber security include Bennett University, Gujarat university, CGC ( chandigarh), VIT Vellore, IIT Delhi, Amity university Noida and many more but these are the top ones. Yes, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran does offer BSc in Biotechnology as an undergraduate degree, that lasts for three years. The course curriculum aims to instill the concepts of Biology, Chemistry, and Engineering into the students. Admission to BSc Biotechnology requires twelve years of school education with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology conducted by a recognised board/University.

To be eligible to get admission to the Jamia Millia Islamia for B.Sc Biotechnology you need aggregate of 50% in class 12th from a recognised board.
The admission process is:
- You need to visit the college website and apply for the course
- Eligible candidates need to appear for the Entrance Test conducted by the college. (CUET)
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for Personal Interview based on score obtained in Entrance Test.
- Candidates are selected based on performance in Entrance Test and in Personal Interview.

Both are two different fields, BAMS is professional Medicine course and BioTech is technical course. You need to decide what you want to do. In first you'll become a Doctor while in second a researcher. PG : both course offers you PG study. BAMS is a good option in its own ways. Biotech is still developing in India. There has been new developments and modern techniques which enable to improve quality of the products used in biotechnology whereas BAMS is settled in India
