PUBDET comprises separate entrance exams that are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different Science and humanities programmes offered at Presidency University at the undergraduate level. While appearing for PUBDET exam, candidates can apply for a maximum of any two subjects.
PUBDET application form will be available soon at the official website of the exam. However, for the previous academic session, PUBDET application form was released on January 3, 2023 and closed on January 31, 2023. After successfully registering, candidates can fill the application form by entering information such as personal details such as domicile, category, PwD status, home district, family income status, religion, nationality etc. Academic qualifications of Class 10 and Class 12 details also need to be filled in.

The WBJEE application fee for General Category is INR 500 (General Male Candidates) or INR 400 (General Female and all Male Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW) or INR 300 (All Female Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW and Third Gender Candidates). The application fee has to be paid through debit/credit card or net banking
An online receipt is automatically generated after the successful payment of the application fee. Please note that this receipt is to be preserved as it will be required at the time of WBJEE 2024 counselling and admissions. It is also proof that a candidate has successfully made the payment of the WBJEE application fee and has registered to appear for the joint entrance exam.

No, direct admission for MSc at Presidency University Kolkata is not possible. The university conducts an entrance exam for the same. The student have to sit for PUMDETWxam for MSc course.
