Although it is not compulsory to have studied Mathematics as a subject in Class 11-12 level to apply for a BSc in Biotechnology course, students should have pursued the Science stream and studied Biology as a core subject.
The minimum eligibility requirement for BSc Biotechnology is to pass Class 10 and 12 with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as core subjects, with min 50% overall (45% for SC/ST candidates), and 60% in each core subject.
As it is a BSc course, unlike BTech students who have done PCM or PCB in Class 12 are eligible for admission.
