MAKAUT Course Admissions 2025: Registration, Eligibility, Fee & Dates

MAKAUT University accepts both merit and entrance based exam scores. The university conducts CET exam in June for admission to courses such as BSc, MSc, BBA and BCA courses. MAKAUT conducts JEMAT for admission to MBA and MHA courses. It also accepts a few other state/ national-level entrance exams such as WBJEE, PGET,  UGC NET  (including JRF)/ CSIR NET for admission to UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes.

No, MAKAUT MCA admission process is entrance-based. The university only accepts JECA scores for inducting students to its MCA course. The top affiliated colleges for MBA are Camellia School of Business Management, AIM, Supreme Knowledge Foundation Group of Institutions, Budge Institute of Technology and GIMT. As per the last year's cutoff MAKAUT CAT cutoff 2022, the overall CAT Percentile required for Camellia School of Business Management was 80, whereas for AIM, Supreme Knowledge Foundation Group of Institutions, Budge Institute of Technology and GIMT, the required CAT percentile was 25. The hostel fee for the MAKAUT BTech course ranges from INR 12,600 to INR 3.88 lakhs. This hostel fee amount varies according to the accommodation and affiliated college selected by the students. The MCA fees at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) range between INR 80 K - INR 3.2 lakh. The duration of the course is between two to three years. The entrance exams accepted include WBJEE JECA, JCECE, etc. Moreover, candidates also need to pass Class 12 and graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

The total tuition fee for a two-year MAKAUT M.Tech programme ranges from INR 36,000 to INR 23.9 lakh.
