Chandigarh University offers two courses in optometry:
Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) is a four-year undergraduate programme that covers optics, vision science, clinical skills, ocular diseases, and more. Specializations include augmented reality, virtual reality, and user interface/user experience design. The fee for the first semester is 77,000 INR.
Master of Optometry (M.Optom) is a two-year postgraduate programme covering advanced optometry, contact lens, low vision, and more. Electives include glaucoma, pediatric optometry, neuro-optometry, and sports vision. The fee for the first semester is 94,500 INR.
