B.Tech distance/correspondence courses are not approved and recognized by MHRD, DEC and AICTE. Hence never do this. It is better to seek B.Tech lateral admission in any reputed institution. The colleges offer B.Tech lateral admission are listed below:
1. Delhi Technological University
2. Punjab University, Chandigarh
3. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala
4. PTU, Jalandhar.

Hello Pamela,
Yes, now that you have a BTech degree you are definitely eligible to seek admission in the management college offering MBA even if you have obtained admission for engineering via lateral mode. This is so since admission in 1st year and directly in 2nd are pari-passu with normal engineering course and hence you are equally eligible for admission in any stream of knowledge where graduation is the minimum eligibility criteria.
Best wishes to you for this admission.
