Hi,Yes, you can appear for the entrance exams and go for a B-Tech degree.
In my opinion, Food Technology would be covering a wider aspect. You will develop competence in areas like Food Process Engineering, Crop Processing Technology, Food Analysis and regulations, Plant and Animal biotechnology.
You need a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying JEE Mains or the qualifying entrance test of a university. Hi,If you have discontinued your BTech then you will be able to take admission in B.com or BSc only on the basis of your XIIth score.
Your one year of BTech will not be counted
The last qualification counted for admission level should be of a pass degree.
You can check the same from the website of any good university like LPU, SRM, SNN etc. as web sites give all the details.
