The students from the institute are hired by many big construction companies as an employee and many construction sites as an intern. Mumbai is one of the fastest developing cities of India and has a large scope in construction era for civil engineers which the same is reflected in the placement stats of the institute. The average placement for the undergrads is 8 LPA (civil students) and 14 LPA is the highest package offered to the student placed in Ultratech Cement Pvt. Ltd. Though the civil students prefer to run their own business and work on the own construction sites rather than jobs, but jobs could be a better learning experience to know the corporate world. Here, the admission is done through MHT CET and JEE Mains and one can qualify with 150 marks in MHT CET and 200 marks in JEE Mains for the civil branch.

The percentage rate is almost 100% for computer engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month. IIT ranks 9 in the list of top colleges of India. Indian Institute of Technology- Roorkee offers many courses out of which Computer Science engineering is one of the courses which offers about 100 seats to students. IIT-Roorkee is known for its great infrastructure faculty with 5 to 10 years of experience and they are very knowledgeable and facilities like Wi-Fi, Sports Complex and labs with better equipment and machines. It provides the good coding environment in the College and it also takes part and organize many different coding competitions. After considering the placement report of 2016 for IIT, Guwahati in biotechnology engineering branch, out of the 40 students who enrolled for placements, 32 got placed. Some core companies this visit like Biocon, Narayan Cadillac, Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy, Brenntag Industries, etc. But gave away very few offers, Also these placements were mostly considering Business Intelligence, data analytics, banking finance, marketing and other such companies due to the lack of ample of core biotechnology companies visiting the campus and thus rolled out IT based roles. IIT, Guwahati has dedicated placement and training cell which is huge but they are mostly IT companies with big brand recognition. Students usually take up Masters in the same college to increase the chances of getting into core biotech company. Where Placements are phenomenal. The average package was 5 LPA and the highest was 11 LPA and minimum offered range was 4.5 LPA.

According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIT-Warangal ranks 34th among the engineering colleges in India. For Computer Science Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 108 students who applied to placements from CSE department, 107 students were placed meaning 90.1 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number. For CSE, the minimum salary offered was 3.3 LPA. The average salary was 13.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 20 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal.
