IISER Entrance Exam 2018 pattern is such that the question paper will contain a total of 60 multiple choice questions that candidates need to complete in a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours). Candidates will be evaluated out of a total of 180 marks. Questions in the exam will be based on four subjects, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

I suggest you study what interests you. While the degrees do have an extensive overlap they also have differences. Molecular Biology tends to lean toward genetics, Biochemistry is often very chemistry and bio-organic molecules based and Cell Biology degrees tend to have many biomedicine modules (this is how it seems to me after researching 91 universities). However, there are also many degrees where the different disciplines have an almost equal representation. If you want to study all of those areas then you might want to look at courses named Molecular Cell Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Cell Bio

Yes, biology students can choose dairy technology as a career after 12th. Dairy technology is a structured and organized course wherein the aspirant can enter at various levels like diploma, graduation, post graduation and doctoral ones. For entering into the diploma and graduation courses, the aspirant should have cleared higher secondary exams with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. In most of the colleges, the minimum passing percentage required is 50%. Degree courses can generally be searched as B.Tech / B.Sc. The course one pursues after 12th science plays an important role in determining his/her career. If you choose the wrong course, you may have to spend the rest of your life doing a job that you don't like.
