Admissions in BITS is made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission is based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT. BITS also gives direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to their First degree programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score.

You have more than enough time. Keep yourself on the right track. Practice as much as you can. Strengthen you weak areas, and get well versed with the syllabus.

Placement have no relationship with the years you drop, but with the skills you have. They want most skilled and hardworking employers for today, no matter what was your history.

I am sorry but you are not eligible for BITSAT, but you are eligible for JEE main and State engineering entrance exam. I will suggest you to prepare for JEE main and JEE advance. These exams are better than BITSAT.

There will be no effect on your placement but at least you will do much hard work to get next year and achieve better rank than this year.

You can just practice NCERT book miscellaneous questions and BITSAT previous year question flow.

BITS Pilani is one of the best engineering Institute on par with IITs. Your decision to appear for BITSAT is very good.

ya it may create problem but if your 12th form is in obc then there will be no problem as during counciling they refer for +2marksheet
