BITS has written clearly in their information bulletin that question is only from the big question bank of NCERT.
So, go through NCERT books thoroughly.
All the best.

BITSAT solely demand a perfect knowledge of the basic concepts of the subject. BITSAT limits itself to shorter but far trickier questions. Also, BITSAT has slightly lesser chapters in its bag as compared to JEE syllabus, focusing only on the important ones. You must have all formulas and equations on your fingertips. Practice Time Management by giving more mock tests. Divide time cleverly for various sections; English and Logical reasoning won't take much time and will fetch more marks if attempted properly.
Best of luck.

No, you would not be able to surpass the cutoff (which is minimum of 300 out of 450) if you only prepare for the 12th syllabus. The 11th syllabus is as important as the 12th and carries equal weightage (might vary a little bit). It is advised that you prepare both the 11th as well as 12th syllabus. The questions would be direct and easy. Just try to focus on the important topics. Hope you do well.
Best of luck.

No, you are not eligible for writing BITSAT in 2017 if you passed your 12th exam in 2015. Students who will be writing 12th exams in 2017 or who passed exam in 2016, only are eligible to give BITSAT 2017 exams.
