Marks eligibility criteria at BITS is as follows: "The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects". Therefore if you do not get 75% marks in PCM you will not be eligible for seeking admission in any of BITS University colleges.

Hello Rucha,
The marks obtained in class 12th may not contribute in deciding your rank in JEE Mains or CET, but it can veto your chances, if you do not score above minimum level required. Therefore, I feel that after completing class 12th, it is better to take a break of 1 year to prepare.

Hello Vaibhavi,
Like for any exam, please follow the tips as given. Perseverance, hard work, dedication are important. Assign time for each subject everyday. Assign time for exercise and yoga everyday. Assign some time for entertainment as well. Take mock test every week. Brush up weak topics. That's all. Of course most importantly, have faith in yourself.

Hi,
For the preparation of BITSAT, there is category of score:
1. If you want to score 300, than NCERT will help you to achieve this score.
2. If you want to score 350, than NCERT and some other books and video lectures for JEE Mains will help you.
3. You should not neglect English and logical reasoning section.
BITS has only 180 minutes for paper. You have to solve 150 questions. So, I would advise you to join a test series for BITSAT.

No but you have very less time in exams. In 180 minutes, you want to attempt 150 question and their is extra syllabus also rather than PCM. But level of question asked in BITS is lesser than JEE Mains.
If you score 170 in JEE Mains, you can definitely score 350 or more in BITS. But give mock tests because time management is very important for BITSAT.

Hi,
NCERT is the base for JEE Mains as well BITSAT. As you want to score above 370 and want to get admission for CS in Pilani campus, then you should supplied with other books.
