If an Indian student is applying for the University of British Columbia admissions, they should use both its campuses (UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan) strategically.
Given below is the strategy, take a look -
- You should use the first choice for the programme of your choice at the main campus, which is the Vancouver campus (44%)
- Okanagan as the safety net (It has a higher acceptance rate at around 71%).

Indian students may get their Canada student visa within 4 weeks of applying for the same, per the official Govt. of Canada website. The processing time may vary. In some exceptional cases, processing times can go up to 3 months (12 weeks).
Students are advised to submit their visa application timely to avoid any last-minute hassle.

Getting a seat at Canadian College is moderately difficult for Indian students. The college has an acceptance rate between 70 to 75% as per unofficial sources. The college requires students to attain a GPA of 2.5 to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for entry to most of its PG courses.
Other requirements include English proficency, submitting LORs, SOPs, and academic transcripts.

No, Canadian College Vancouver does not offer PGWP-eligible programs. Despite its status as a Designated Learning Institute, its programs are not eligible for a PGWP, as it is a private institution.
This means Indian students will have to find a different way to stay and work in Canada after studying at Canadian College Vancouver. This may include getting a job offer via Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Yes, late applications are generally accepted at Canadian College Vancouver. This college does not have strict and hard admission deadlines for Indian students.
They operate on a rolling basis, first-come, first-served basis and they continue to accept late applications as long as the seats are empty.
