Students who complete their studies at a relevant high school and/or recognized post-secondary institution will be considered for admission. International applicants must be in good standing and demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency in English. UNBC has country-specific academic requirements, thus, for Indian aspirants the requirements are as follows:

Undergraduate Admission

Students must have Class 12 or Standard XII Board Examination results issued by examination boards, such as ISC, GCSE, AISSCE, etc. For general entry, students should have a minimum average grade of 50% or higher in English Class 12, three academic subjects, and an elective. Apart from this, students who have a three-year diploma issued by a state board of education will also be accepted. A minimum average grade of 50% or higher is required for general entry.

Additionally, any one of these English proficiency test score is required:

English requirements can also be fulfilled if the student has:

• A final grade of 75% (B) or better in a university transferable English course, or
• Completed two full years of full-time degree level studies or equivalent at a recognized institution where English is the language of instruction.

Graduate Admissions

Indian graduate applicants should possess any of these academic qualifications from a university or institution accredited by India's National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A or better. GRE or GMAT may be required as per course requirements.

Vancouver Community College provides financial support, grants, and scholarships for deserving students. If you're an international student, you can check the official college website or contact the admissions department to learn about the qualifications for getting scholarships and grants. This will also give you the latest information. International students can also avail of the Vancouver Community College General Bursary. Vancouver Community College Bursary are non-repayable grants that are provided to students with not no sound financial backgrounds. Students who are registered as full-time students (18 hours ESL/ABE or 60% course load for post-secondary) or disabled can avail of the Vancouver Community College Bursary. It is mandatory for students who are applying for VCC Bursary to have passing grades in all the courses.
