Missing a tuition payment deadline at Brown Uni can result in late payment fees, account holds, and course cancellation. Each of these are mentioned below:
- Late payment charges: Late payment charge of 1.5% per month (annual rate of 18%) on any unpaid balance
- Hold on student account: This prevents students from registering for classes, making schedule changes, or receive transcripts/diploma

For UG students, the Brown Uni does not require an enrollment deposit to confirm seat at the university. For PG students however, some programs of the School of Professional Studies require a non-refundable programme deposit worth USD 1,500 (INR 1.4 Lakhs).
Some online PG programs also ask for an intitial deposit worth USD 500 (INR 47.4 K).
