Harvard is hard to get into than Brown University. Brown University acceptance rate is 5%, where Harvard University acceptance rate is 3%. The Harvard is more stringent during admission. However, both universities are tough to get into and follow a tough approach while selecting candidates for the admission. Students must perform good in academics and score excellent marks throughout their high school to get selected.

No, UBrown does not accept late applications from international students. It does not accept rolling admission and has set deadlines for UG and PG. If students miss the deadline, they need to wait for a whole year. The university offers flexibility to students who have suffered natural disasters, political unrest, or other major events

Students who enrol at Brown University in STEM fields can apply for 2 year extension of OPT. It allow students to extend OPT work authorization for additional 24 months for total of 36 months. Through this, students can gain further practical experience in their study field, completing the academic work. However, to be eligible for this students must have completed Bachelor's or Master's.
