No, GRE is not required for admission to Brown University MSc in CS course (neither General or Subject). The duration of this course is 2 years. Typically, the university looks for students who have an UG CS degree or equivalent. Additionally, students must also submit IELTS score with 8.0 / TOEFL scores with 105. Students must also submit 3 letters of recommendation and official academic transcripts, and resume.

Brown University, a top Ivy League university, provides a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering, not any B.Tech Degree. It has a flexible curriculum, high research intensity, and international career prospects but is extremely costly (INR 70-80 Lacs overall). GRE score submission is optional for admission to Brown University MSc in CS, but it is encouraged. To take admission to this course, the applicants are required to have an UG degree in Computer Science. An English language proficiency score is required and to prove the same, the applicants can submit a TOEFL iBT score of 105 and IELTS score of 8.0.
