This OPT STEM extension allows students who have completed a degree in a STEM programme field to extend their work authorization for an additional of 24-months, and a total of 36-months, and gain further practical experience. Student must find a course that fits with their qualification and interest. Once they decided, they should check the basic qualification and requirements of the program.

There is no specific work authorization is need. International students with F-1 visas can work on-campus. International students are restricted to work up to 20 hours a week. However, international students can work more than 20 hours during their Winter and Summer breaks.
