BIT Sindri BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Admission, How to Apply, Cutoff

The admission criteria at the institute involves registration, selection, merit list and counselling. Candidates have to participate in the round of counselling to get a seat in the institute. STEP 1: BIT Sindri BTech Application Process 2025

Candidates wishing to apply for BTech programme at BIT have to first fill out the JEE Main application form. After appearing for JEE Main, candidates are required to register for JEECE Counselling. Below are the steps to fill out JEECE application form for lateral entry courses:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and register for JEECE 2025 by providing the basic fields. The login credentials will be generated after the registration process is completed.

Step 1.2: Next, the candidates will have to fill out the application form with the required personal, academic and contact details. All of the information provided has to be valid. Incomplete or invalid applications will not be accepted

Step 1.3: Candidates will have to upload scanned copies of their passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression and other required documents. The documents should be scanned and uploaded as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 1.4: Next, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee in online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card).

Step 1.5: Finally, the candidates will have to check the details that they have submitted in the form and submit it.

STEP 2: Merit List

After appearing for JEE Main and filling out the JEECE application form, a merit list is released by JEECE Board. The merit list is prepared based on JEE Main score of the candidates. Based on the merit list, counselling rounds are conducted. For BTech (LE) admission, the institute conducts an entrance exam. Selected candidates need to come for counselling and document verification.

STEP 3: Counselling and Seat Allotment

Selected candidates for BTech admission need to participate in the counselling rounds. Based on choice-filling, aspirants are allotted seat and are further called for document verification. Aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the institute. The BIT Sindri BTech fees range from INR 16,900 to INR 87,000. This fee range is inclusive of tuition fee for both BTech and BTech (lateral entry) programmes. In addition, the hostel charges of the institute is INR 1.87 lakh. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is however still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

BIT Sindri provides merit-based scholarships to student. Some of the BIT Sindri scholarships that BTech students can apply for are BITSAA Bermo Chapter Scholarship, Sri S S Sahay Award Instituted by Dr.B S Sahay, etc. The schemes are awarded to only those students who meet the prescribed criteria.
