MHT CET is a state entrance exam for Maharashtra. The cutoff for MHT CET varies from college to college. For top-tier colleges, 98-99 percentile marks are needed for the general category, while reserved categories; requirements are lower. JSPM University BTech courses accept this entrance exam.

If someone wants a refund of his fee,  he must write an application to withdraw from their enrolled programme including clear explanations of reason for withdrawal. The amount is sent to the candidate's bank account after the successful process of withdrawal.

Yes, you can specialize in Cloud Computing after BTech CS or even during it, for that matter. You have some simple options to do the same -

  • Choose your electives accordingly. Indulge in relevant projects and internships to grab jobs in the said domain.
  • People often get into some additional certificate programs to gain expertise in a particular tech field during their official degree.
  • You can choose the Cloud Computing specialisation during your M.Tech degree too.
  • Cloud Computing is more of a sub-branch of IT & Software rather than an engineering branch itself. But pursuing it as a field of expertise is definitely possible.

Yes, some specialised departments have a more selective intake to ensure personalised attention and better lab access. BTech course in Mechanical Engineering and BTech Instrumentation and Control offer 60 seats each. This smaller batch size often allows for better interaction between students and professors during complex practical workshops and research projects.

Though the majority of the seats are filled based on the MHT-CET and JEE Main exam results, there is a small percentage of seats available under Institute Level admissions. In case you are looking for a BTech seat under this management quota, contact the administrative office of Cummins College of Engineering.
