A good LOR highlights your eligibility for the said programme and established you as a good prospective student for the course. Without sounding generic, the LOR must talk about your aptitude for the course you are planning to join and your skills and achievements that are relevant to your program. The LOR for Canada should also discuss what makes you unique and how you can contribute to the program. Additionally, all the qualities you mention must be supported with examples or instances, as seen by the recommender.

Though the number of LORs required by different Canadian universities varies, they typically ask for at least three or more letters of recommendation. While academic LORs from a candidate's professors or mentors or project guides are typically used, applicants with work experience can also submit professional LORs written by their managers or seniors at the workplace.
