Nancy, Sorry to say, but you have scored very less in your CAT exam. You need to take the exam again and study hard this time. To get admission into top colleges, you need atleast 80 percentile in your exam.

It is clear that you may not have worked enough to make the cut and I am sure you know it. Having said that I want you to think why you want to do an MBA at all. To me it looks like you have not been able to define your goal as a student. May be you need to think a little in that direction and find out what you want to do in life. I recommend you go for IIM Kozhikode.
The brand IIM always play a role in your future.
Also, kind of peers and teaching methods you'll get here will be better than others.

You cannot get an IIM call. You do not meet the minimum requirement i.e. of class tenth.

You should target Fore school of Management, New Delhi. Last year cut off was 87%. So, you may get some chance if you perform well in GD/PI. They are going to close the admission process in two days. So better hurry.
Some other colleges are:
• K J Somaiya, Mumbai
• Nirma University, Ahmedabad
• Great Lakes, Chennai
• IRMA, Anand
• T A Pai, Manipal
All these applications are still open and going to close soon. So apply as soon as possible.
All the best.

Yes, definitely you will get a call from IIM. IIM's looks only the final percentage of your graduation and CAT marks in shortlisting the candidate for an interview. At the time of the Interview, they will ask about your lag in attaining graduation and at that time, you can tell your reason, and if they found it genuine and correct then you will be selected. I hope you had your medical certificates and all as a proof. Then definitely, it is not going to affect you in any way in your journey towards IIM.
All the best.
