Other than medical option and all the B.Sc BA. You have many options. Like, career in teaching, designing, photography, sports. Etc. You all also have the options for courses like hotel management, wedding planning, law, pilot or cabin crew and many more.

I can understand your situation. Since you are already in 12th and studying science, I would suggest you to first focus on studies and clear your 12th. Once you clear it, start searching for some good western music academies and earn a certification. It needs a lot of focus and efforts. Don't be in hurry as you have enough time to learn a lot. Give yourself enough training through part time trainer in your location or wherever possible. Don't leave your studies in mid.

It depends upon your category. If you belong to SC/ST category, then you may get GD /PI call from NIT Trichy. All IITs and NITs are best colleges for MBA in terms of ROI.

It doesn't matters in today's date whether a student is mediocre or topper because coming generation wants to pursue courses of their own interest. For your son, I'd say that let him complete his boards and let him decide the field of his interest. Generally people think that after doing 12th from bio stream the career options are either a doctor or a professor/teacher. But, that's not true. Since I, myself am from bio side I can tell you what confusions are created in one's mind after boards regarding career. My sincere advice will be to select that path in your life which is likely to give you satisfaction. Ask yourself a question. What subject excites you? Books of which subject you like. Thus this is the career that you should choose.

Many state governments have introduced common entrance test for admission to the hotel management colleges. But others allow admissions based on marks obtained in 12th. You will have to check on the website of your state.
