In order to clear Indian Engineering Service(IES) examination conducted by UPSC, you may choose any branch of engineering from Electrical Mechanical or Civil etc and complete B.Tech / BE/ B.Sc (Eng) degree from a recognised engineering college.
n order to clear Indian Economics Service (IES) examination conducted by UPSC you may chose and do Post-graduate degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Busines Economics/ Econometrics.

Clear post-graduation in any stream which you can teach in school.
Clear B.Ed from a recognized college.
After completing your graduation you have entrance exams like:
UPTET
CTET
JNV
KVS

For getting IIM call you should have a decent percentage in your academics. Atleast above 75 percentile. But sometimes you will get a call according to your percentile in CAT exam as it all depends various IIM. You can even get a call if you have 55% above in all academics.

Yes, it is possible, First you need to crack CAT exam then according to your percentile you will get a call from different B-school and of course for IIMs you need above 93-94 %ile because you belong to OBC category. Otherwise for non-reservation category you need above 97-99 %ile.

All branches of engineering are equally good with respect to scope & opportunities if you do engineering degree from a good college. You must choose your branch of engineering based on your area of interest to excel in professional career.

Start preparing for IIT, there are also some top rated private colleges too. But I will suggest you to take a step forward, clear your mathematics, prepare for IIT, this will make your basics stronger then you will succeed in your field wherever you will study.
