if you want to become a Software Engineer ,then you must go with COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING and HAVE TO SCORE maximum percentage to become eligible for a good company job and salary packages.
also don't forget to file for competitive exams as well as some additional crash courses to differentiate your profile from normal candidates
