You can choose to study BA ( not necessarily) if you plan to appear for IAS. It is more important to choose the correct combination in alignment with your optional subject for the IAS exam. Studying subjects like History, Geography and any one language ( English would be more beneficial) would make IAS preparation more easy and impactful. You can join any coaching along with your graduation for 3-4 years. It will enhance your preparation. You can also take online coaching. Continuous and regular preparation of 3-4 years is enough to crack IAS. Best wishes.

Moderation policy is in favor of students this bridges the difference between difficulties experienced in solving the question in a specified time due to misinterpretation/ambiguity of questions and errors, if any, leading to multiplicity of performance and causing constraints on consumption of time for other questions. Hello Sahana Sridhar, you have stated about your 10th and subsequent to 10th you have done some education in computer stream but you have not mention as to whether you have completed your graduation or you are still pursuing it.
