If you get NIT with these marks, good for you otherwise LPU is a wonderful option (*You might have to write LPUNEST). These are some of the reasons for it
1. It is world class infrastructure with modern facilities for students.
2. It has good placement records and offer proper placement inputs for students.
3. It has industry-specific curriculum.
4. It offers scholarships to meritorious students.

I have checked previous year cutoff of JMC and it was above 96 percentage for both the courses. Chances of getting in to it in first cutoff seems to be difficult. Don't rush for a college, ultimately you will get degree of DU so try for some other colleges as well.
