Go for PCM with any other optional subject such as CS, physical education or Hindi. Just score more and try to get a seat in IIST or IISER, Bangalore. Do hard work, focus and score more in JEE Mains.

No, you need to give all 5 subject combination exam. If you fail in any 2 subject, then only you could give the compartmental exam in same year session not in next year.

You can start for IELTS anytime, there are many resources online which can provide you right guidance. For a better score, please make sure you invest more time in practicing sample questions before exam.

Don't worry if you drop one year. You are still eligible for the course that you have choose.
