Yes, you can definitely clear JEE main examination with a good score by self-preparation. If you have regular practice in solving problems then you can easily score 150+. You need to have concept clarity with a great speed and accuracy in solving problems and practice many mock test papers.
But to clear JEE Advanced, you need a guidance in the most efficient manner.
So try to have coaching for JEE Advanced but you can clear JEE main without coaching.

If you have got 87% in 12th exam from CBSE board you are eligible to take the admission in b.tech course in top private college s or universities. first it should be clear that in which stream do you have the interest like software field (CSE), energy conversion( Mechanical) in electrical branch, electronics & communication. choose on of the stream and then select the college on the basis of placements, infrastructure, global exposure, highly qualified faculty, etc.
Best of luck.

As per your rank, your chances are nil for this college, so try via management quota if you want this or any top colleges in Maharashtra.
All the best.

Your percentage is not that good but your aggregate marks in PCM out of 200 only matters for your admission. It is called cut off marks.
So, if your cut off is 195 or above out of 200 then you may get admission .
