Civil Engineering in VIT is good. Faculties are decent and the opportunities of projects are also as per standards of good engineering colleges. Civil engineering is still a fruitful option with several construction companies and metro rail corporations emerging. In public sector there are opportunities for civil engineers in academics, PWDs, public health engineering and water authority and irrigation departments. Entrepreneurial opportunities are limitless. Remember, dreams are not what you see in sleep, dreams are those that do not let you sleep.

Hi Shivam,
No institute can guarantee you placements. It's just purely based on how you utilize your abilities and skills at the right time. I would suggest you to contact the training and placement department personally for accurate numbers.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute. However, we can help you with the parameters that you can keep in mind while choosing an institute. You can consider the below parameters :
1) Faculty,
2) Affiliation / Recognition
3) Course Material,
4) Quality Education,
5) Fees
6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recrui
