Hey,
Every branch has its pros and cons you can't predict any branch with its placement, take the branch in which you have a keen interest so that you can show your skills and you can definitely get placed if you have a good understanding of the subject.

According to me, NIT-Patna is the best NIT for doing civil engineering as from NIT-Patna a student gets placed at a package of 70 lakhs a few years back which is the highest package to a civil engineering in its core company.

The corporate patronage is quite strong as the Presidency group is into existence since 40 years. Hence the alumni network is quite strong. The same linkages will be leveraged for the rest of the courses as well.

Hi Pranav,
Gateway Institute of Technology and Science, Sonipat is an average college with an overall rating of 5/10 on several platforms. Kindly look for better options to pursue B.Tech in civil engineering as this is just an average college of Sonipat.
Feel free to raise more queries.
All the best.

Alright. I understand. I'd suggest Instrumentation and Control engineering. It has better placements and scope for higher studies as it's a developing field which is getting more and more prominent in the practical world. However, you really need to work hard if you take ICE. All the best :)

Hello Gopal,
No, I don't think so. KCG is a decent college for other engineering branches, but for civil engineering, there are no placements that are up to the mark.
