I would like to mention that, IIT, Madras is known as one of the best colleges for civil engineering.
There are awesome packages offered in placements for civil engineering at IIT, Madras. Almost 95% ratio is seen every year. The scope of civil branch is quite good.
The minimum.package offered is Rs 4 to Rs 5. Average package of civil engineering at IIT, Madras is around Rs 8 to Rs 9 lakhs per annum and has gone up to around Rs 17 LPA.
Many multinational companies visit here and offer good packages to Civil Engineers.
Companies like American Express, Axis Bank, Amazon , Google, Microsoft,Yahoo, Reliance Industries, PepsiCo, Glen
