Indian School Mines at Dhanbad, now converted to IIT is an example where one can do graduation in engineering in mining. But then next best is civil engineering. I feel if you make enough efforts you may land up a job in a mining company.

All the best for your future.

According to me, Graphic Era deemed is better as compared to DIT and Graphic Era Hill University.
