Hello Abhishek,
If you really want to excel in your field and want a good job then you should now go for a B.Tech course in civil engineering. After Diploma, you can get direct admission in the second year in any engineering college. It is generally direct admission or you might have to appear for an exam.
Best of Luck!

You are advised to approach big civil engineering contracting firms doing Infrastructure building work directly for job after Diploma in Civil Engineering. If you open to relocate to small towns where infrastructure work is being executed, you will get job easily. If you are looking for jobs in big cities, then you may face lot of challenges.

Hello Pratik,
The private colleges that are good for civil engineering in Chennai are:
1) SRM University (KTR main campus)
2) Sathyabama University
3) VIT University
Due to less infrastructure at Chennai campus of VIT University, it is least preferred for civil engineering, but Vellore campus is good.
All the best.
