Dear Radhe,
JBIT is one of the best colleges in today's time in Uttarakhand. This year also, it has provided highest placement but only for CSE, EN IT and ECE whereas only one or two companies came for civil engineering. I would suggest you to choose either DIT or Graphic Era, Dehradun for civil engineering.

There is no problem to pursue B.Tech in civil engineering. A student can change his field of study after Diploma. You can also apply for lateral entry into B.Tech directly.

Hi Rocky,
The fees structure of Diploma engineering varies from colleges to colleges. In some state government colleges, the fees structure lies in the range of Rs.10k to Rs.16k for Diploma. While, private colleges fees structure varies between Rs.40k to Rs.60k.

To get admission in IIIT Hyderabad Well scoring for civil engineering Changes every year but I'd say a score over 280 or around it confirms a seat for you.
To get in UPES, you will have to score good IN UPESEAT exam.
