Will depend on the university requirements, they will check its equivalency though AMIE is a great option and recognized in India . If you have done the course full time or through correspondence, your overall academic records etc will be checked. Please speak with the university officials directly.

Make sure to take PCM in your 11th and 12th, for the best colleges crack JEE Mains, then JEE advance, get into civil engineering

A Ph.d is generally done to take up a job in research or education and with civil engineering, ppl pursue MBA in construction management as there is a need of well trained professional in it. Other good options are Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Geo-Technical engineering, Environmental Engineering etc.

I think iits and nits are good
but if u stay in delhi then Dtu is a good state govt college for civil.
